POLYURETHANE
Spray Polyurethane Foam Insulation
Description:
-
Two-component, closed-cell, polyurethane foam system, designed for spray applications. "A" component is a polymeric disocyanate. "B" component is a combination of polyols, catalytic agents and non-ozone depleting HFC-245fa blowing agent.
-
Used as monolithic, high R value, high density, high compressive value tapering substrate for the application of RMI systems.
-
RMI has developed a proprietary "gasket flashing system" utilizing RMI Flex fluid applied non-breathable less than 1 perm membrane with 500+% elongation and 100% memory to provide a double floating seal at all penetrations, transitions, curbs, walls and perimeter. The net result is a true monolithic tapered insulation with superior flashings than conventional board stock and roll sheet membranes.
-
It can be surfaced with or without RMI Flex as required. One of our liquid applied roof coatings is required to complete the system.
-
Compressive value significantly higher than conventional board stock insulation when combined with RMI Flex provides one of the most hail resistant roof systems available today.
